To our Christian Life Assembly family,
With things moving more and more towards a full re-opening this summer, we have 3 priorities to move our church forward these next few months…
Community, Gathering, Discipleship
Community – Open up your home and set the table for a friend
Jesus' message was the Gospel, and His method was often sharing a meal at a table, eating and drinking with his friends. This summer, let's follow Christ’s example and break bread together in our homes and invite some people to join us.
Who’s on your heart? Who is someone you’ve been thinking about? The next few months will be a fantastic opportunity to invite some people over from the church and maybe invite a few neighbours or co-workers along too. These summer nights are fantastic for backyard BBQs, coffees on the deck, campfires and a Summer Market (see below)!!. Just think about the impact we can have if our CLA families share the love of Jesus through hospitality this summer! This will also be a strategic way to prepare for our fall ‘Community Group’ launch and, of course, a great way to be on mission!
Gathering - Open up your weekends. We miss you at our in-person gatherings
Now that restrictions are lifting, make sure you plan to join the CLA family on Sunday mornings. We have been so blessed throughout most of this pandemic to remain open at limited capacity and we are thankful that so many have joined us online, but we’ve missed seeing you and your family on a weekly basis! In the coming weeks, there will be more room and greater capacity available. Kids and Youth programs are in full swing as well as nursey care.
Discipleship - Open up your heart and mind and be strengthened in the Lord
We will have many things available for you and your family, including some life-changing summers camps for all ages!

What an exciting summer we have lined up at CLA! I know that as we engage with these opportunities, we will see our church continue to move forward with strength. Let’s commit to being the Church by fulfilling God’s mission together with joy and purpose.
