AB Government Regulations May 9th-23rd
 
Premier Jason Kenney announced further public health restrictions to “stop the spike” of COVID-19 cases in Alberta. These actions include limiting the number of attendees in places of worship to 15 people. With this new limitation, we have decided to temporarily move our church gathering and ministries back online for the next 3 weeks.  It’s been a long season of disruption but by the grace of God, we are hopeful this season will end soon. We will miss seeing many of you in-person for gatherings, yet we look forward to joining with you on our online platforms!
This week, Pastor Tim will continue Part 3 in our new series 'Future Church - Established Faith in a Culture of Idolatry.' The ideologies of culture creates a real danger of embracing an artificial faith, which ultimately will draw people away from a Jesus-centered faith.  How do we stay faithful to Jesus and not let our hearts get swept away by the opinions and demand around us? Through the practice of reading & interpreting Scripture, we come to let Christ's words abide deep in our soul, and shape the direction of our lives. We hope to see you ONLINE this Sunday at 10:00am!

Construction continues on the CoLAb Studio! New walls are being mudded & taped, double doors are now installed and vinyl plank flooring is going down! Carlin and Neema are getting married!! They are very excited to celebrate their special day with our CLA family! Due to the current Alberta restrictions, the wedding ceremony will be viewed ONLINE. For everyone who is interested in joining in on the festivities, we will be providing a live youtube link next week!
Both Carlin & Neema have been such a key part of our staff team this past year, investing weekly into the children & youth of CLA. As they begin their new lives together, we want to give all of you an opportunity to bless this lovely couple. Due to the new regulations, we are shifting gears and moving our Team Night online! Please stay tuned for the new date a Zoom call details! We warm to make sure everyone who wants to join is able to do so. If you are currently a volunteer in any capacity, or would like to join the team, please let us know. This will be a night full of vision, strategy and team building!
